This story begins where Secret Surrender left off. It begins with Kristen attempting to come to terms with who just landed on her doorstep. She is confused about what is happening. The first chapter gives you insight on Kristen's past and what happened with her ex boyfriend Marty. I was happy to see Kristen grew a bit of a backbone in this story.

This book had the most angst,and suspense then the other two before this. It was perfect for me. This is what makes a book good and enjoyable. It kept me on the edge of my seat. It was a real page turner and one of the best erotica books I've read since Fifty Shades.

Vincent was well developed in this book. He was caring and showed he truly cared about Kristin and his family. We see a side of him we haven't seen yet. The part that got me the most was when he was with his nephew playing. That really made me realize how caring of a person he really is.

This could have been condensed into one book because of how short the three were altogether. But they were good none the less and I am happy I got the opportunity to read them.

Recommend for Fifty Shades of Grey lovers and anyone over 16
