Southern Perfection by Casey Peeler, is a book I've been wanting to read for a while. I fell in love on the first page and couldn't stop reading until I got to the last page. I was on an emotional roller coaster while reading this book. This is one of the sweetest love stories I have ever read.

Raegan is a southern girl through and through. She's a farmer and a southern belle. She lost her parents and grandmother when she was five years old. She lived with her grandfather since they died. He is her rock and they tell eachother everything. Emmett comes back into town and has Raegan falling head over heels for him. He has the same feelings for her as he does him. As they become close, Raegan learns her grandfather is not well. She goes through the realization that he isn't gonna live forever.

This book is a southern romance mixed with truths in life and family. This book is heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. It's a page turner and a truly wonderful book. There's life lessons and realizations as well. 

I recommend everyone to read this book. It's truly wonderful.

New Year

I have been busy with work, moving, and other personal stuff that's been going on. I am hoping to get back to reviewing and reading very soon. I am reading a couple books right now. It's just a lot has been going on and I am sorry that I haven't been very active. My New Year's Resolution is to read a bunch of books this year and review every single one. Who knows if it will happen but that is my number one goal when it comes to reading. I have a bunch of other goals too but  just one for when it comes to reading. I am open to suggestions on good books to read. Lately I have been looking at a lot of Young Adult books that I missed out on because they were published after I graduated. Shoot me a message if you have any thoughts or suggestions on how i can improve the page. Thanks so much.
